Responsible for the timely completion of performance appraisals and monthly employee assessments for designated team members.

Maintain a productive climate and motivates employees to meet performance standards.

Review and evaluate data for accuracy and completeness.

Must attend weekly manager’s meetings and assist with weekly schedules and payroll timesheets.

Report problems encountered on site to Superintendent immediately taking appropriate steps to address emergency situation.

Works closely with Superintendent, GM and Head Golf Professional.

Grades and prepares soil lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.

Operates equipment used on the golf course such as pickup truck, tractors, mowers, airifier, chainsaw, edger, weed trimmers, sprinklers, irrigation systems, hand and power tools for turf maintenance.

Oversee the maintenance and care for plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers.

Responsible for the daily set up of the golf course.

Assist the mechanic with the maintenance and repair of all equipment help to develop priorities to allow for efficient operation.

Makes recommendations concerning renovation and installation of new irrigation systems.

Assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the golf course irrigation system.

Assist with the application of chemical and fertilizer ensuring that it is done correctly.

Daily management of the maintenance crew including work lists, job assignments, training, and quality control giving clear and concise instruction.

Review course conditions daily and make appropriate adjustments to daily and weekly goals.*Native American hiring preference for qualified candidates.
